REGISTER YOUR NEW BIKE 

Use the links below to register your new bike with Giant, Liv, or Momentum to activate your full warranty and ensure a record of your purchase and your frames serial number are saved with the manufacturer.  This can expedite future warranty claims and can sometimes help in the recovery of stolen bikes.

You will need the digital copy of your receipt which was emailed to you at the time of purchase, if you cannot find this then simply call the store and we will happily email out a new copy for you.

Registration and extended warranty coverage

Starting August 1st, 2022, registered bicycles will received extended benefits as outlined below. A registered bicycle is defined as being registered online by the original owner within 90 days of the purchase date. You can register your bicycle on the Giant website.

Limited warranty

Giant warrants for the original owner under limited conditions that the frame, rigid fork, original component parts, rider gear or service gear of each new Giant product (Giant, Liv, Momentum) including E-bikes and Giant brand framesets to be free from defects in material and workmanship for the below specified periods. This warranty applies only to bicycles, framesets and gear originally purchased new from, and assembled by, an Authorized Giant Dealer or Giant Group’s online webstores.

* Warranty for 3rd-party components is covered by the warranty guidelines of the original brand.

Second owner warranty

To be environmentally responsible and encourage a circular economy, registered bicycles will have the warranty extended to the second owner (other successive owners are not included and non-Giant branded components are not included). The warranty period remains effective from the original purchase date by the first owner.

Giant warrants for the following specified periods for Giant branded components:

1.Warranty for 3rd-party components is covered by the warranty guidelines of the original brand.
2. Second Owner warranty will only be valid if the original owner registered the bicycle within 90 days of the original purchase date.

* Registered bikes only

** For bikes purchased between August 1st, 2022 and June 1st, 2024, frames will be covered for two years from the date the second owner purchased the bike from the original owner. Proof of sale must be provided as well as the original purchase receipt. Rigid Giant branded forks are also covered under the same circumstances but limited to a 10-year period from the original purchase date, regardless of the second owner purchase date.
